Airbound International Inc

Last Updated on: 10th August 2026

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Airbound International Inc, together with its wholly owned subsidiaries including Opendrone Private Limited (collectively, “Airbound”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from visitors (each, a “User”) of the www.airbound.com website (the “Site”). Airbound designs, engineers, and manufactures autonomous fixed-wing delivery drones (including the Airbound TRT platform) and operates commercial drone delivery networks for enterprise, healthcare, and e-commerce logistics partners. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and to all products and services offered by Airbound.

Personal identification information

The Site is primarily an informational and recruiting site for Airbound and does not currently offer online ordering, a customer account/login area, or a newsletter sign-up. We may nonetheless collect personal identification information from Users in the following ways:

  • General and business inquiries: If you contact us at contact@airbound.co or through the Site's “Work With Us” channel - for example regarding partnership, enterprise, procurement, media, or investor inquiries - we may collect your name, email address, company name, job title, and the contents of your message.
  • Careers: If you use the form on our Careers page to express interest in working at Airbound, we may collect your name, email address, resume/CV, cover letter, links to your LinkedIn or portfolio, and any other information you choose to include in your submission. As of the date of this Policy, the Careers page does not use a third-party applicant tracking system; submissions are received directly by Airbound.
  • Commercial and delivery-network customers: If your organisation engages Airbound to design, deploy, or operate a drone delivery network (for example, as a healthcare or e-commerce logistics partner), we may collect business contact details, commercial and billing information, government-issued identification (where required for regulatory, aviation, or export-control compliance), and other information reasonably necessary to establish and operate that relationship. This information is typically collected through direct business dealings rather than through the Site.

Users may browse the Site anonymously. We collect personal identification information only where a User voluntarily submits it to us - for example by emailing us or submitting the Careers form. Declining to provide such information will not affect a User's ability to browse the Site, but may prevent us from responding to an inquiry, application, or business request.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, type of computer or device, and technical information about a User's means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system, Internet service provider, IP address, device identifiers, log files, general location data, and usage patterns.

Flight, telemetry, and geolocation data

Separately from the Site, Airbound operates autonomous delivery drones as part of the drone delivery networks we provide to our commercial partners. In connection with these operations, we may collect location data relating to pick-up and delivery points, in order to plan and complete deliveries. This data helps us operate our drone delivery network safely and is not collected through the Site.

Web browser cookies and similar technologies

Our Site uses a cookie preference tool (accessible via “Cookies Settings” in the Site footer) alongside “Cookies” and similar tracking technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage, to enhance User experience and to understand how the Site is used. A User's web browser places cookies on their device for record-keeping purposes and, at times, to track information about them. Users may manage their preferences through the Site's Cookies Settings control, or set their web browser to refuse cookies or alert them when cookies are being sent; if they do so, some parts of the Site may not function properly.

We may use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device until deleted). Third-party analytics providers may also use cookies and similar technologies on our Site to help us understand aggregate visitor traffic and engagement.

How we use collected information

Airbound may collect and use Users' personal information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries: Information you submit by email or through the Site helps us respond to general, business, partnership, media, or investor inquiries.
  • To evaluate careers submissions: Information submitted through our Careers page is used to evaluate your interest and, where a suitable role is or becomes available, to consider you for it and to communicate with you about your application.
  • To understand and improve the Site: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how Users, as a group, use the Site, and to improve its content and functionality.
  • To perform commercial transactions: Where we enter into a commercial agreement with a business customer or partner, we use the billing and business information provided solely to establish and administer that relationship. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  • To share your information with third parties: Where permitted by applicable law and with your consent where required, we may share, or in limited circumstances sell, certain business-contact information with marketing partners for the purpose of marketing Airbound's products and services to prospective business customers and partners. We do not sell aerial imagery, telemetry, or individual delivery-recipient data.
  • To send occasional communications: If you have contacted us or provided your email address, we may send you information responding to your inquiry or relevant updates about Airbound. You may unsubscribe or ask us to stop at any time by emailing us.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations: We may use and disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or enforceable governmental or aviation regulatory requests, including requests from civil aviation authorities.
  • To protect our rights and property: We may use your information to protect the safety, rights, property, or security of Airbound, our Users, our drone operations, or the public.
  • For business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Third-party service providers

We may engage third-party companies and individuals to host and operate the Site, facilitate our services, support our drone delivery operations, or assist us in analysing how the Site is used. These third parties may have access to your personal information only to the extent necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf. Such third parties may include:

  • Cookie-consent / preference-management providers
  • Email service providers
  • Billing and invoicing providers, for commercial customer relationships
  • Marketing and advertising partners
  • Logistics and last-mile delivery partners

Data retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (including aviation recordkeeping requirements). Flight, telemetry, and sensory data may be retained for longer periods where necessary for safety, incident investigation, or regulatory compliance purposes. When we no longer need your personal information, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information and data stored on our Site and drone delivery systems, including transport-layer encryption (SSL/TLS) for data exchanged with the Site.

We may store, access, and process personal information in India or in other countries, including countries that may be identified or used by us in the future, subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards. The location in which personal information is stored or processed may change from time to time based on our operational, technological, legal, regulatory, or business requirements.
