Location:
Located at the east side of Malajon Island.
Access:
3-5hr by banca west to the west side of Busuanga Island.

Conditions: Conditions can get rough with
fierce currents. Not a good place in bad conditions. Visibility up to
65ft.
Great
for wreck-diving beginners and has plenty of fish; western side has poor
corals, sometimes a good site to see large pelagic species like sharks.
Taiei
Maru (Concepcion Wreck)
Location:
Located at the south of Concepcion Village
on Busuanga Island.
Access: 2.5hr by banca west until south of
Concepcion village.

Conditions:
Fierce currents are common. Visibility up to 20m.
It
is well covered with nice corals, sponges and different kinds of fishes.
Taiei Maru has everything.
Akitsushima
Location:
Located between Lajo Island and Manglet Island.
Access: 2.5hr west by
banca.

Conditions: With some
strong currents. Not advisable for beginners.
This
warship in the Coron Wrecks, the Akitsushima, sunk on 1944 was a flying
boat tender. It is 487ft long. This is advanced dive due to the depth.
This site is good for fish life.
Gunboat
At Lusong Island
Location:
Located at the southern end of Lusong Island.
Access: 2hr west by banca.
Average

Depth: 33ft
Conditions: Clear, calm shallow water. Visibility up to 100ft.
A
shallow wreck that is good for snorkeling and photography. It is often
used as a relaxation between main dives, which is covered with sponges,
and soft corals. The reef beside the wreck is also good for snorkeling.
Olympia
Maru
Location:
Located between the northern end of Lusong Island and Tangat
Island.
Access: 2hr west by banca.

Conditions: Calm with some current.
A
Japanese freighter that was sunk in 1944. This is a nice dive but has a
lot of scorpion fish hiding in the wreck.
Kogyo
Maru
Location:
Located at the southeast corner of Lusong Island and south of
the Olympia Maru.
Access: 2hr west by banca.

Conditions: Calm with some current. Visibility up to 20m.
This
is a Japanese freighter sunk on 1944, which is 520ft long. Deeper dive
gives less light and less time to explore the wreck.
Irako
Location:
Located at southeast of Lusong Island.

Conditions: Calm with some

A
Japanese refrigerated ship, sunk on 1944, which is 482ft long. For
advanced divers due to the depth.
Mamya
Maru
Location:
Located at the west of the northwest side Tangat Island.
Access: 2hr west by banca.

Conditions: Calm with currents that could be very strong at times.

A
Japanese freighter that sunk on 1944 is 525ft long with good stony and
soft corals and a wide variety of fish life and other species.
Tangat
Wreck
Location:
Located at the west of the southwest end of Tangat Island.
Access: 1.75hr west by banca.

Conditions: Calm with light currents that could be very strong at spring
tides. Visibility up to 15m.
A
Japanese freighter, 400ft long that was sunk on 1944. This site is a
good introduction to wreck diving for beginners. This has a wide variety
of fish life and a good wreck for photographers.
East
Tangat Wreck
Location:
Located at the west of the southwest end of Tangat
Island.
Access: 1.5hr west by banca.
Average

Conditions: Calm shallow water with visibility up to 50ft.
This
was sunk on 1944 and believed to be a tugboat or anti-submarine aircraft
with waters that are shallow for snorkeling. The dive is good for
novices and photographers.
Coron
Island - Fishing Boat Location
Location:
Located a few hundred meters
southwest of the entrance cove to the Barracuda Lake.
Access: 45min
south-southeast by banca.
Average
Depth: 25ft

Depth: 40ft
Conditions: Calm and shallow with almost no current.
Several
dive/snorkel sites are located in this area with lovely rock formations.
Most of the sites are shallow coral gardens with lots of sponges, and
other pelagic species. A perfect area for first divers and also good for
night dives.
Cayangan
Lake (Barracuda Lake)
Location:
Located 100ft inland from the center of the
northwest part of Coron Island.
Access: 45min south-southeast by banca.
Average Depth: Whatever you like.
Maximum
Depth: 130ft
Conditions: Calm
with high walls with visibility varying from 30m near the surface.
A
different dive served by hot spring. Moving from the walls and descend,
the water gets hotter. On the walls of the lake, a lone Barracuda 40in
long is found. Seawater species could be found in the lake.
Coral
Garden
Location:
Located a few hundred meters northwest of Calis Point, the
south point of Coron Island.
Access: 2hr south by banca.

Depth: 130ft
Conditions: Calm sheltered water
with visibility up to 80ft.
A
lovely shallow coral garden at 13ft with a good stony, leathery corals
and plenty of reef fishes.
Gunter's
Cathedral
Location:
Located at the north-northeast of Calis Point on Coron
Island.
Access: 2hr south by banca to northeast of Calis Point.

Depth: 25ft.
Maximum
Depth: 44ft
Conditions: Calm with good visibility
up to 65ft.
A
beautiful site with a large hole in the roof. Novice divers should have
steady nerves and be accompanied by a local dive master because finding
one's way out is harder.
Delian
Island - North & South
Location:
Located east-northeast of Calis
Point on Coron Island.
Access: 2hr south by banca.
Average
Depth: 25ft.
Maximum Depth: 80ft
Conditions: Only advisable dive in calm conditions.
The
southern and northern part of this island offer good snorkeling or
shallow diving over coral gardens with many small reef fishes.
Framjee
Bank
Location:
Located 19km east of Bocao Point, the southeast extremity of
Busuanga Island.
Access: 2.5hr east by banca.
Average
Depth: 50ft.
Maximum Depth: 130ft
Conditions: Make the exploration in calm conditions
and expect some strong currents. Visibility can reach 100ft.
The
corals are not too good. Sharks, tuna, travallies can be seen.
Brown
Rocks (Butulan Rocks)
Location:
Located 2km south of Bantac, Calanhayaun and
Lubutglubut Islands.
Access: 3hr journey by banca around the east of
Busuanga Island.
Average
Depth: 60ft.
Maximum
Depth: 80ft
Conditions:
Make your journey only in calm conditions.
Best
snorkeling is found on the west side while best diving is on the west,
south and east sides of the southern rock with coral gardens sloping
down to 80ft.
Tara
Island
Location:
Located opposite the village on the west side of Tara Island
Access: 4-5hr in an overnight trip by banca around the east side
of Busuanga Island.
Average
Depth: 65ft.
Maximum
Depth: 100ft
Conditions: Make this journey in clam conditions visibility up to 25m.
Pelagic
fish are common despite the light currents. The island houses a
Vietnamese refugee camp.
Kyokuzan
Maru
Location:
Located close to the Club Paradise Resort

Conditions: Calm with medium currents with visibility around 65ft.

Japanese freighter sunk on 1944 500ft. An excellent dive.
Dumunpalit
Island - Southwest
Location:
Located southwest side of Dumunpalit
Island.
Access: 5-6hr by banca around Busuanga Island.

Conditions: Dive is all-year round with
visibility up to 65ft.
The
site is unique for having pink soft corals with a gentle slope from the
shore to 25m. Pelagic species are found on the slope.
