Day 1
Yangon Arrival
Our Nature Dream Travels & Tours guide will meet at Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel. Proceed for sightseeing up to your flight schedule. Overnight in Yangon. (B)
Day 2 Yangon - Kyaikhto - Mawlamine
After early breakfast , start to leave Yangon, a short stop at Htaukkyant War Cemetery where those who lost their lives in this area during WW II are interred. Afternoon continue to Mawlamine -the first British capital in colonized Burma. Overnight in Mawlamine. (B)
Day 3 Mawlamine - Thanbyuzayat - Mawlamine
After breakfast travel to Thanbuyzayat the site of the Commonwealth War Cemetery. Thanbuyzayat (pronounced Tunboozayat) means "white iron", the War Cemetery lies at the foot of the hills, which are, buried men who lost their lives in the building of the Burma-Siam railway. The total number of burials here is 3,771. We will have as much time here as the group requires. From the Cemetery we will visit the Museum. Overnight at Mawlamine. (B).
Day 4 Mawlamine - Kyaikhto - Yangon
This morning drive to Yangon.
We will arrive Yangon in the early evening. Overnight Grand Mee Yahta Hotel (B).
Day 5 Yangon Sightseeing
This morning we will take a tour of the city and visit the famous Shwedagon Pagoda towering the green city scape of Yangon, the Shwedagon Pagoda is the prominent landmark visible from miles around. The Shwedagon is believed to have been built some 2,500 years ago. Overnight in Yangon (B).
Day 6 Departure Yangon
This morning to wander around Scott Market; here you will be able to pick up some last minute gifts. Scott market was named after Mr C Scott in 1926. Scott was the then Municipal Commissioner. The market was renamed by the locals to Bogyoke Aung San Market in honour of the national leader General Aung San who was assassinated in 1947.
Late afternoon transfer to the airport.
